Lewis Hamilton reportedly set to join Ferrari in 2025
Lewis Hamilton is set to join Ferrari in what would be a sensational switch and one of the biggest driver moves in at least the recent history of Formula One.
Hamilton has regularly had speculation written around his future, partly due to the fact he is still the highest-profile driver on the grid and, of course, is statistically the most successful.
Indeed, whenever his contract at Mercedes has been approaching expiry, particularly in recent years, he has been linked with a move away and, more often than not, to the most successful team in the sport’s history: Ferrari.
A huge tie-up no matter how you look at it but, given Hamilton only signed a new deal in the summer of last season for this year and next, speculation around his future appeared to have died down for the time being at least.
However, that has all changed now, with him looking set to join the Scuderia for 2025 alongside Charles Leclerc, who recently signed an extension with the Scuderia.
Carlos Sainz will be leaving at the end of the current campaign, then, and has the likes of Mercedes, Red Bull, and Sauber as potential options to head to upon his exit.
Hamilton and Leclerc at Ferrari it looks set to be for 2025, then, and that is some partnership in the offing should it all be confirmed.
